Annual Promotional Calendars

Astley Gilbert distributed wall, desk and mini calendars, printed both offset/digital to clients each year. The grid design, dimensions and paper stock also changed—with the concept and copy establishing the design direction for the upcoming year’s marketing initiatives. The design extended to shipping labels, promotional postcards, social media posts, internal memos, reception window graphics, screen savers, and promotional pins + magnets.

2014: ANALAGOUS COLOUR highlights the spectrum and AG working side-by-side to support clients’ creative and printing needs.

2015: 8TH DAY created using hashtags to promote 25:8 service.

2016: PERSONALIZED using variable data to change greeting, name and branch location. Featured sample insert showcasing digital opaque white ink printed on Neenah Epic Black stock.

2017: “WE ARE AG” statements using definitions to describe the character of the company.

“Thank you so much for the personalized calendars! I was impressed when I saw the CN one, then even more so when I saw my name. It’s a very thoughtful gift and I truly appreciate it.”
– Project Lead, Community Affairs, CN Rail

“I brought my large format AG desk calendar to my new job—to use for project planning. I was missing it and finding my real estate agent’s traditional wall calendar was just not cutting it with project planning and deadlines along with my MS Outlook—I need a big desk calendar. I showed my Director and told him I need a visual when it comes to plotting out production deadlines, for the many projects coming in and out of our department. Hoping you’ll have an extra to send me at the end of December when the 2016 edition is published. Gotta keep the tradition going—it’s been four years, soon to be five with AG on my desk!”
– Marketing Traffic Coordinator, Mohawk College

“You are hatching all the great ideas with #wonderday. The little circle pins...brilliant idea.”
– Senior CADD Manager, Head Office, Astley Gilbert
