Global Pluralism Award: 2023 Yearbook

Over 200 submissions received from 60 countries around the world. These are the stories collected from the ten shortlisted 2023 Award Laureates: winners x honourable mentions.

Their work to advance pluralism focused on areas in the Arts, Education, Human Rights, Indigenous Rights, Media/Technology, Peacebuilding + Conflict Resolution, and Social Cohesion.

I design events similar to annual reports—with brand continuity to anchor; but memorable. The goal is to look at any piece in a program and be able to identify: “That’s—2023”. This being the first award cycle we were unveiling the new brand, I opted to keep the cover neutral; any other image would have competed. To break from overly framing everything in circles, the winner profiles feature full bleed, double-page spreads.

“Everything is looking so polished and beautiful. It has been a real labour of love. I think I speak for the whole team when I say how appreciative we are of the incredible attention to detail that you brought to this project. It has elevated us to a totally new level, and we are thrilled with the result! I certainly think this leaves us with a very strong template for our future cycles.”
