Holt Renfrew Paper Selector

Designed a custom Paper Selector for Holt Renfew’s marketing department. The cover image is reflective of both their style, subliminally made up of the four printing colours—Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black #CMYK.

Included an instruction guide saddlestitched into the cover panel; followed by individual paper samples in different weights/finishes, and specifications detailing sheet size + bleed dimensions. Wire-o bound with a hidden spine, I wanted the spine text visible like a book, so it could sit on a designer’s desk.

It’s important to design in such a way that the client can see themselves in it. I selected fashion imagery to contrast text weight (summer/shorts) vs. cover weight (winter/scarf); and accessories for specialized stocks. Different sections are printed on different presses to compare and evaluate how their logo/Pantone would reproduce.
